Custom Rooting Service

I am pleased to offer my service as a custom reborn doll rooter.  I have over 10 years experience in rooting and have had many happy clients.  Whether you are a reborn doll collector and would like to give your beloved reborn baby a new head of hair or you are a reborn artist wanting to add the option of a rooted head of hair to your babies I can accommodate this.  I also offer a variety of colours based on your preferred choice.

Please view the photos of my past rooting and let me know what kind of style and colour you would like.  I can either root hair with the same thickness all over or I can do a thicker middle and crown based on your desired look.  I root reborn dolls from premature to 0-3 month size and you can see my pricing list here.

Rooting is done over a period of many hours and takes a lot of time and patience.  The process of rooting a head starts with drawing out a map onto the head, I then directionally root mohair into the head 1-3 at a time, trimming and spraying with water as I go along to ensure that air lies in the direction it would on a real babies head.  Once complete I seal the hair inside the head with a strong waterproof glue to hold securely in place.  If taken care of properly reborn hair will last a life-time.

I only use top quality products on my reborn dolls.  I use premium quality mohair because I believe that the quality of the hair really does make a big difference.  Using top quality mohair ensures a soft beautiful and easy to care for head of hair for your precious baby.  I use a fine 46G crown needle to micro-root hair.

To take care of your babies hair and style, you can spray with reborn baby conditioning spray or just plain water and brush gently with a soft baby brush.  I personally prefer to use a new toothbrush to brush my babies hair as I find it much easier to style and it is more gentle.
